MathieuMa Pillar of the Community France 1591 Posts	Posted 08/05/2011 12:16 pm Nice coin, it was an excellent idea to save it :D The surface looks a bit odd near DOLLAR (sponge) - but maybe it's because of the picture focus (could be normal coin's usage marks). vb3347 Valued Member United States 230 Posts	Posted 08/06/2011 12:33 am The weight should be 26.95 grams, so yours is quite close, .3 difference is not unusual for circulated coins. My guess (and I'm by no means an expert) is that it's real but harshly cleaned not too long ago, making parts of it appear mushy. Report this Post to the Staff
