1975 D Lincoln Memorial Cent With Error!

OK I have a 1975 d mint penny it has the regular d mint under 1975 but it also has a small d or p on the flap of his jacket I need help knowing if it is a mint error and is the coin is worth anything.

Since this thread seems to be tapped out, would you guys mind if I hijack or resurrect it? I needed some info on a 1975 D Lincoln I recently found. I did a search here and this thread came up. tman19320- I hope you don't mind.

The mint mark on mine seems to be in a much different location then the mint marks I've seem on other 75's and the one posted above on this thread. Is this common for these dates & mint marks? Thanks!

The tolerances for Mintmark are in essence anyehere in the field area but not touching another device. Since these were added to the working dies by hand, if an errant punch like this couldn't be repaired (punched too deep)by grinding away and moving, would have made fireld there to deep into die face, they left it there. Common, however many strikes were made with that die, 100K +, as compared to 300 mil...

I actually found one just like yours while organizing some of my BU Lincolns today, USSID18.
