I found this dime today. It seems have a weak stuck marks on tail (very weak ST in "STATES") and weak stuck marks on face (Weak w and 4). Is it considered as error or worthless?

Boy, did you ever have me fooled. I clicked on your thread because I wanted to see a dime that had a 'tail'. Kind of wondering where it came from. After seeing what it was I realized what you meant.

Good haveing you here on the forum monster.

Really common type of error in Roosevelt dimes starting withthe 2000 dates. Many of them have weak lettering to a point of barely readible. However, at coin shows such coins are beginning to command a dollar or so and in the future should continue to climb in value if the error craze continues. Keep it for now.

You know, US mints mint them at some crazy volume number of coins every year, such weak striking is bound to happen. Don't the mint at one stage mint like 12 coins per second or some astonishing figure?
