How common are these really? I was going through my junk silver and came across three, yes three of them. Two of them look like they are from the same die. The doubling is most noticeable on the W in WE. What would be a realistic value in XF? Are there any web sites that show photos of these DDO's? Thanks for your help.

I looked at these again and they are in fact three different DDO's. I will try to post photos soon. Can anyone give me an idea of value? Thanks,

Quite nice, and intruguing as well, considering I collect 1968 die varieties.

Having alot of trouble getting a good photo so here is a scan of the better of the three, I hope it's good enough to get an idea of what I'm seeing. Although it doesn't show the S has some real nice separation lines. 1968-D-JFK-DDO (if you zoom the page it's easier to see.) Thanks,

There's also a 69-D DDO, pics of which can be found at Bill O'Rourke's site: http://askaboutcoins.com/2009/04/do...alf-dollars/
