I got this yesterday and was wondering first what is the grade and worth and if it had been clean. Looking at it closer I fear it has been clean and only worth the silver.

Second I am curious on what VAM it is. I think it might be VAM2, but I am extremely new to Morgans. This is only my second one, but I am loving them.

1902 is a very difficult year to attribute, unless you own a given VAM or know someone who does. Not a whole lot of evidence is published regarding them.

I think the date location of your coin qualifies as "normal," but on the near side of "normal." I may be wrong - this definition varies somewhat by year and mint. Keep in mind, the rules of VAM identification are not locked in stone - one man still decides the existence of every single VAM - and this year's Near Date might be next year's Normal Date.

Either way, I don't see enough information regarding your coin to even hope for an attribution.
