Hi, This is a 10 sen coin from Malaysia which has die clash marks on both of its obverse and reverse. This coin does not possess any rotated die error, they are in perfect allignment as indicated by first image. But, the die clash marks which usually match the mirror image of respected opposite side is not there. I had rotated the obverse of the coin to match the die clash mark on the second image. Can someone explain why this happen? Thanks.
One of the dies must have been in a rotated position when the clash occured. Some time later the malpositioned die was placed back in its proper orientation. It was after that correction that your coin was struck.
