$3 coin doesn't get there. Files dispute without any kind of warning. I message him twice, no response. I just end up refunding it to close the thing before the time limit expires. I even try to get his phone number but it turns up blank.

The funny thing is that this guy bought 3 other things from me almost a month before he filed the dispute. Never paid. Never responded. I had messaged him twice with no response and waited patiently. Finally, he pays with the message "payment sent" as if nothing happened. No apology or explanation or anything.

The weirdest thing is that this guy has 12,000 feedback...

This sums up what exactly is wrong with ebay these days. Buyers have too much power, and sellers are often put in a no-win situation. The only thing you could do is stop selling for a period of time until enough time passes where he can't neg you, then block him and start selling again. Then again, he can just start a new account and screw you over that way. ebay has certainly ruined a good thing IMO.
