HA! The guy wanted double melt for a coin which is barely identifiable and with no buyers dropped it a whole two dollars, I guess I had better buy it now before someone else buys this "bargain."!

Cool...uh....planchet? Kinda like a ghost coin. Sure is pretty though. Pretty shiny!
If you know anything about marketing you know that it's not a defect, it's a feature!
Sell it strong.

Some like these low ball registry sets for whatever reason. I think PCGS now lets you include problem coins now as part of your set now.

The thing though, it has to be identifiable to a year and MM to be useful to a low ball set. thats why a PO1 With a Date and MM is so hard to get. At that point the coin is near slick.

If you could read the date I might THINK about buying it.

Hey, at least you know what you are getting.

However, could it be a counterfeit? The first test piece off a counterfeiter's new press? LOL

I wonder if this coin would pass the weight test, with it being so worn?

Should be selling this for melt- price is silly. Not sure I'd even buy it at melt!

This is not the worst coin. Unless it's not even real silver. If this coin is 90% silver then I argue it's not the worst coin. Mistreated, sure, but it would still have a conversational place in some/most collections, since it holds value (melt) still.

Very funny==especially since some people would be tempted to call this an extremely rare mint error and ask for scads of bread for it.

it looks artificially worn and harshly cleaned.
