Are the marks on the "E" and "R" signs of doubling?

Looks like very minor doubling. You might check the outer parts of the devices. I see a notch on the top bar of the E?

It is a doubled die reverse. There are three listed in the CONECA master files.

Thanks all

coop I checked the E over well I think what your seeing is a false reflection on the lower right side of the top bar on the E but the upper left has a notch. The Pics are a little much but with the notch on the bottom of the E and the top of the E I think we have doubling?

BJ Neff I do not see any doubling on the back.

Possibly minor hub doubling, but too hard to tell with the lighting used because the coin is so fogged up with PVC and other contaminants. For sure, if those are not removed from the coin, it will eventually be worthless no matter what it is.

It's a brown IKE in the original government holder.

It's still environmentally damaged. The Mint did not make these holders with long term storage in mind. The holder is literally killing that coin.
