Anyone have any experience with this Tacoma, Washington dealer? I just bought a 1875-S VF Twenty Cent Piece from him on a Buy It Now. The coin looks uncleaned and problem free and the reverse is actually the grade they called it, a VF-30 in my opinion, but of course the obverse is a grade lower as is common in these. What worries me is that they have several other Twenty Cent Pieces listed, all at Buy It Now prices higher than the one I took. Every one of those coins is significantly more worn and one has significant damage. Why would they list their best example at a lower price? I made them verify that I would actually receive the coin shown, but it still concerns me. Thoughts? Thanks. Colin

Yes, a three day no questions asked return policy. Besides I put it on my credit card so I am always protected. They are a power seller with 99.9 positive.

Although I've never dealt with them, they're on my Favorites list because of the sheer volume they do - that's the type of seller who lets a VAM slip through unattributed now and then. They take decent pictures, and their feedback is superior - 2 Negatives in 4500 transactions, 2000 of which are from repeat customers (that's a significant statistic), and zero Mutual Withdrawls, another significant statistic. Looking at their feedback, there's a cross-section of typical Ebayers, from 1 to thousand of feedbacks of their own. I'd definitely do business with them based on the evidence.

Thanks that is comforting. Here's hoping that they slipped up on this Twenty Cent Piece. It sure looks like their "Buy it Now" price was below bid on a problem free coin. I have been needing a decent one for my 19th century type set. Colin

I see some lines on the obv fields that may be signs of an old cleaning. But having said that, it is a very nice coin and along the lines of what I hope to add to my type set.

Texasmick, thanks for taking the time to look at it. There are a few faint lines that may be on the surface of the obverse and not the holder, but they go different directions and don't look like rubs to me. Don't see any sign of it on the reverse? Anyway if you are correct and it was cleaned it has retoned nicely and it was lightly done. Of course I will see if I am right when I have the coin in hand.
