Hello:
I am looking at this to purchase.
Is it a good deal.
Are there ones of equal quality at a lesser price.
Lighthouse USB Digital Microscope Camera 20x to 200x
Your Price: $137.62

Thanks

The Lighthouse is good, but only if you have a PC. I have an Apple MAC and I couldn't get the Lighthouse to work right no matter what I did.

Check out the link below. I have a Dino-Lite and it works great. There are more models with various prices.

My nephew has a Dino-Lite and it's great but they tend to be a little more expensive then some other brands.

I bought one of these and it was defective and I returned it.
I was not impressed but here is a forum topic that is 7 pages long and has comments on the item from members who bought from a CCF member at $135.00 shipped.
Rest in Peace

Thanks everyone!
Okiepd, I also have a MAC thanks for the heads up.
Anybody have any success with John1's suggestion to the Digital & Optical Microscope offered?
Re-read your post TheNickelGuy, thanks. MAC compatible.

Great Links I will be looking for a "TOY" version of this CHEAP to see what kind of results one can get on a BUDGET, Radio Shack and Smithsonian have such "TOY MICROSCOPES" to use with Computer. Hey if it doesn't work then the Grandchildren get a NEW TOY, of course if it does work then I may have to fight to keep it, or buy a second one for myself whereas I will end up spending the same as I would have on better one. Just can't win.

My LED Digital Blue is hard to use...most LED scopes are too bright, and, you have to put tape over the LED to tone it down..bottom line is I need a regular scientific scope, with a camera attatchment.
