Okay this one has no ridges around the outside and they dont look to be worn off it looks to be never put on it. I'm going to see if I can get a good picture of it I hope so. Here it is.

Well I cant actually get a picture showing no ridges Ill have to find a better camera or something =/

It's very common for the reeding to be worn smooth on dimes that old. There are errors that can cause the reeding to be missing, but most likely your dime is just worn.

Thanks again this one I am not really sure about. How would I tell if it is just worn or an error? Or would it really even be worth it to find out? IE. Is a dime of this year valuable without the reeding?

1967? Maybe more like 1947? 1937? Looks to be just a well worn Merc.

Oh I'm sorry I mixed up posts this is a 1918 dime duhh. getting late haha I'm tired. Sorry.

The dime in question was actually a 1967 roosevelt (I think) I just made a Mercury dime post and for some reason mixed the two up I will update pictures of the actual dime in question in the morning I guess.

In order for a dime to be struck without the reeded edge in error it would have to be a broadstrike or struck without the collar and in that case it will be larger in diameter than a regular dime.
