Hello all, I believe this is 1878S VAM 9 but it does not have the polishing lines in the wreath bow. Also is that a die chip in front of the middle arrow, it has the lines in the cap, the doubled B and Liberty. This may not be anything but just wanted to know if I attributed it right. Thank you for the help.
Edward M.

Check for the broken are in Trust.
Yours has the engraved wing feather
so if a go on the are most likely a Vam-9
Also if the obverse attributes are present.
Pretty common VAM so no real premium. But still
fun to I.D. it.

The "smoking gun" identifiers for this one are the "B" and the die chip low on the (eagle's) right wing. I can see the chip; if the "B" matches the description you're there.
