If you are seeing an inverted s mintmark, I can say I see that too in a way but I don't know if there is a variety for that year Lincoln Wheat cent or not. It could be corrosion makes it appear like an inverted s too. But if it is anything odd that would be where I would start to investigate on it. Just my opinion but I do think that is what you have.

what I am seeing is a D under the top loop of the S. and I know there is no such coin.

Severe rust/corrosion coupled with an excessively pixelated photo makes your eyes see things that are not really there.

Not to mention the re-processing over a rusted coin and the flaking off of layers of plating.
