I'm thinking more like VG8, maybe VG10.

I'd say VG8 only on account of the pockmark on the face.

Looks to me a VG-8 obverse and a VG-10 reverse.

I would call it VG-10, but it looks cleaned to me. It appears to be a little too light and the red spots by the "19" in the date on by the MM on the reverse lead me to believe it was cleaned at some point. May not be, but I would pass on this unless they offer a good return policy.

I would expect more grime in the date and legends. However, it doesn't look harshly scrubbed, as to remove corrosion.
If the cheek mark strikes it down, then it would be VG10 to me. I suspect details are closer to F12.

Going with VG-10. And I agree also, may have been cleaned at one time.

Yeah, this is one I will hold off on until I buy in person...most likely the Long Beach show.
