My order number is 38363 and mine haven't shipped yet. I wouldn't be to worried if I were any of you. Just think not even half of those that were sold have been shipped yet (at least that's what the mint told me when I had them on the phone yesterday.) we will have our sets soon enough!

I have looked at the two sets I opened for the problems that are mentioned in this thread and I can't find any of those problems on any of my coins, so far I haven't found any faults on the two sets I have opened

That's great....gives me more confidence on my box of 5 sets I shipped out to NGC today...
Also..update on the 2 MCM graded sets:
Both with a day to go:
MS/PF 69 set....$898 (impressive!...oh I didn't get a 70 set back but I still got a 300% return on my investment) MS/PF 70 set...$2469 (this will rise)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/IN-HAND-201...em43aaf51a4cQuote: YOU ARE GETTING AN OPEN SET SOMEONE ELSE HAS CHERRY PICKED THE BEST COINS FOR HIMSELF. I guess some people will go to any lengths just to get a few extra $$$ Quote: SHIPPED INSIDE ANOTHER HUGE BOX. MOST SELLERS ARE JUST WRAPPING KRAFT PAPER AROUND THE BIG MINT BOX, GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
Now how would the seller know that info?

Can someone help refresh my memory as to what happens if the 5 coin set of 25th Anniversary Eagles goes in for slabbing at either PCGS or NGC, or, ANACS,(of course, the boxes will be un-opened, sealed), and, a coin or 2 has damage from shipping, or the mint....do the TPG's send it back raw, and NOT charge you, do they slab it as "Genuine", or a similar ungradable label, and charge you, or, do they send it back raw, and still charge you no matter what? Sending in coins I have not looked at is a first for me, and, makes me a bit nervous...maybe I'm being over-paranoid, but, there have been reports of sloppy packing, and, damaged coins on this thread. Thanks Calvin

I had to cash out. I got $3720 before fees and shipping on ebay. Have a buddy trading me 3 1/10 oz AGE's for his sealed single set. A $2000 profit is just not something I can risk. I think like the 2006's these will eventually come down in price. I hope all you guys get your sets mine lasted 20 hours in my possession lol.

I received my 5 sets in good order. All are in really nice conditions, one set with the S mint obverse almost made me upset because I thought it was a scratch between liberty head and the letter E, but on closer examination it revealed that it was a die crack that are raised when view under a magnifying glass.

IlikeIkes, if a coin has damage that the TPG determines renders the coin ungradable, you may get to choose (ahead of time) between the latter two but they will charge you for every coin you send in for grading. The only time they don't is on bulk orders and even a certain percentage of those coins must get paid for even if below standards. Check the specific instructions of the TPG you are thinking of using. I am still sure that I saw that ANACS was not going to accept sealed sets from collectors, even though they are clearly doing it for their volume customers. For HSN, they are even using the ever so enticing First Day if Issue tag on the labels, which appears to mean that the coins were bought on the 27th, like every 25th anniversary coin was (but I guess that a lot of their customers don't know that). They have at least a total of 700 sets (500 69s and 200 70s) so labeled and there is no way that they managed to buy enough sets in the first half hour (what shipped out the first day) for FDOI to refer to first day of shipping. The more I see coming out of the TPGs, the more I am leaning toward keeping my extra sets unopened and stored away in the safe. I thought I could at least still trust ANACS but after seeing the HSN products they lost a lot of my confidence. I am supposed to believe that they already have 700 sets graded, 200 of which are perfect 70s? They are labeled with extra serial numbers that say which one of 200 or 500 they are so if they are selling sets where every coin has the same number, then they had to deliver a lot of sets to ANACS by Thursday at the latest (second day of deliveries) and received overnight grading on 1000+ sets and had the special labels ready to go. Oddly, the only number shown on the slabs on the HSN website is the #XXX of #YYY, so it looks like the coins don't even get normal serial numbers like collector submitted coins do. Also, after all of the flack about the provenance of the bullion coins, ANACS has labeled the coin as 2011-(S) for HSN.

What I am sooooo skeptical about any sets coming out as total PF70 sets is that it seems most people's 2011S coin have some minor flaw that would prevent a 70 score. It seems to me the TPGs are replacing them with "out of set" coins to flesh out a full five coin 70 set. The ratio of PF69 to PF70 seems out of whack compaired to what I am hearing from us "normal joes" in hand coins. Every one of my five sets has a minor flaw in the 2011S but the other four are perfect.
