What grade would you assign this IHC?

With the nicks in the face and on ONE CENT, I'd put this at AU50

Looks like it may have had a light cleaning, EF-45, dings on the obverse keeps it from AU, IMO.

Here are a couple shots taken at a different angle, using the same lighting. I don't think it appears to be cleaned. If it has been, it's not at all offensive to me. I think the fact that the previous image was so washed out, may have left that impression.

I don't see any evidence of crud removed, which would expose underlying corrosion.
If anything, this grade of coin is more likely to be "whizzed", not scrubbed, to look MS.
It's pretty easy to tell a whizzed coin where the fields meet the devices.
I think I'm seeing evidence of mint surfaces on this coin.

The reason I contend it's not had any of those treatments, is the light, but still present, green residue at the top of the wreath and shield. If it's had anything done to it, it's not been done recently.

I would guess EF-45.

I would agree with previous AU-50 opinions; don't see any evidence of cleanings...
