Those are beauties!!! I know nothing about notes, but the more I look at some of these, the more I think I just might start a little collection ...

I don't collect notes, but I had this one laying around. It is a beat up Centennial dollar, like Jim's but this is the other variety which does not have serial numbers but instead uses the double date 1867-1967.

The notes with the serial numbers are actually worth a bit more than the dated ones.The dated notes tended not to circulate so there are now more of them left,many in uncirculated condition.I have several of them myself serving as yet another example of my inability to predict what will eventually become valuable.
No one asked,but going back to the original post,the devils face $5.00 is worth about $100.00.
