You guys are so cynical. I got an unsearched roll of 1916 D Mercury dimes and an unsearched roll of 1804 silver dollars from this guy. He's an A++++++++++++++++++++ ebayer.

cc99999, your funny! I have seen these rolls for a few weeks now, I am sure they have been around for sometime. It is funny though I listed alot of my unsearched rolls about 2 weeks ago. I listee them as a buy it now for like $5.95 a roll put in the body that there wasnt any silver dimes just a very good mix of wheaties. I also knew that there was a few BU's in each roll, also a nice mix of teens, 20, 30. I had been collecting them and tossing them into a jar for the past 25 years. Early dates into a different one. Mixed them in to each other rolled them up.

I sold 2 rolls out of 7. Heck the local gold and silver buyers place has them for $3.95. Not too bad of a price from me.

I wonder if there is some way to temporarily remove the word UNSEARCHED from our language.

Buyers, obviously. The sellers know exactly what they're doing.

The best cons are where the rube convinces himself that he's taking advantage of the conman.

I'm guessing a polished circ pvdb and an 08s IHC with a big obverse scratch.

I like the sellers whose FB shows they bought a bunch of damaged coins that reappear on the end of their amazing rolls.

All of you are missing the point. The real value in this roll is the 48 1958d's that make up the center of the roll.

The way I see it, the idiots that bid on these rolls are throwing their money away on garbage... but it means they probably won't have much money left to bid on the nice coins I want!

They are just people that are easily convinced. These sellers feed on that by buying a couple semi-keys, putting them on each end, and tripling their money.

Gambling is an innate desire. Scientists found that when primates were given more food, it became currency. The two top items were gambling and the world's oldest profession.
