Hello - I know very little about these more recent world coins and was wondering if they are:
A. Worth anything
B. Worth keeping or selling.

I have at least the same again (maybe a bit more) in pre-euro coins from the 50s to 80s.

I keep them just for the interest factor. They all the sort of thing you buy by the pound weight. Or give them to a young person to get them addicted ... I mean ... interested in the hobby :)

I recognize many of the European coins and have them as well. I always thought of trying to collect a coin from each country in Africa, for example, so I find your African coins interesting. People collect different things, and find worth in different things, so it's hard to answer your questions. I don't think these coins are difficult to acquire, so I believe they aren't worth much, but I'm no expert. I agree that they would be worth more to a young collector, though.

The two at the top that say "Bahrain" on them are from Bahrain. The one in the middle with this symbol on it is from Oman. The two at the bottom with the crossed-swords-and-palm-tree symbol are from Saudi Arabia.

Almost all of these coins I have in my collection ( except those from Swaziland ). It's hard for me to put value on these coins, I know how much they worth in my country but I think that price should be approximate in UK.
These are pretty common circulation coins and in Serbia you can buy them for 10 dinars (10 euro cents, that's more then face value of some coins) or even less than that from coin dealer. On flea market you can find 40-50 coins like these for 100-200 dinars (1-2 euro).
On the bright side these coins are good start for world coin collection.

PM me your address startabe and I'll send you the Africans in the first picture - I might hang onto the one with the elephant on it for sentimental reasons but would rather someone who appreciated them more than me had the others.

I know you have been giving a lot of coins out in other areas of the forum so it would be a good place for them to end up.

I'm also approaching my 500th post and a lot of other members mark this by giving a few coins away so this is a good start for that
