I got this email and was wondering if it was a serious thing promoted or allowed by CCF or if it was spam. Anyone have any ideas what this is? It had to somehow be attached to this web site because this is all I use this email address for. My facebook is on a separate email as is the email I buy things with when I use craigslist and other online sites. hmm  << Spam Removed >> |

First things first. When you get spam, don't post it openly, links and all, on a site that gets a quarter million eyeballs on it a day. You might as well be on the spammers payroll.  Second, if you don't know how spam works be careful who you point fingers at. We do not spam, ever. How many people on here have you had contact with? There's your answer. It's either one of them, or their email has been hacked (more likely). FYI, AOL email is one of the most insecure email clients on the planet. CCF gets at least 100 spam emails a day to their operating email addresses from CCF members whose AOL email has been hacked. Gmail is a close second. Third, that is an MLM scam and completely forbidden on this forum. |

I receive atleast 50 Spam email messages a day in my GMail account, and reguardless of the subject line, I refuse to open any message and DELETE them all with a simple click of the mouse...

hmmm sorry about the problem. I have never received anything like this, and do not receive any spam in my inbox or my spam folder on this email account. Like I said, it is for this site only. My hotmail account on the other hand gets about 20 spam notices in my spam box a day. Needless to say that is why I stopped using it and got a new one, the aol one I use now. I haven't signed up for any other site except this one using that email. Thought it was something I should share on here, next time I will keep it to myself. Figured it would be a good thing to share if it was spam, so no one would be affected by it.

up to this point 60 people have looked at this thread, including me probably 5 times...

it the past my e-mail contact list has been "hijacked" and I had been in contact with a few CCF members. I got a couple of emails notifying (from them) that my contact list may have geen jacked, but I dont think anyone here even opened the resulting spam. difficult thing to avoid entirely.

like I said sorry about it and I never really thought about putting it on here as damaging, because I was asking if it was spam and people were confirming it lol
but I guess some people still get curious
