Seems that the way the doubling is struck it appears counterfiet to me anyone else. I could be wrong or right ! The liberty looks like it is off a bit in angle if it was double struck. The whole concept looks not right.

I don't know. I think it's odd that it's the only coin listed by the seller, seems like he's mostly into bottle caps. On the other hand, based on the recent purchases by the bidders, you'll see there's a few serious collectors there. I'd probably steer clear of it.

I'm guessing that its a fake just because I have never seen one like that before. However, if you look at the 'doubled' date you would notice that it came from the same die because there are certain identical features such as the point on the bottom of the MM, and the tip of the 9s.

I don't do errors, so my skill of determining whether this is real are rather sparse. If I were a purchaser I would only buy under the condition that the coin be certified at my expense if real, at the seller's expense if not.

The coin actually looks legitimate to me,It is very unique, rotated double struck,, If it was a squeeze job the letting and detailk would be incused on the coin,, as was mentioned both strikings appear to be from the same die,, and both obverse and Reverse at least by photograph appear to have the same degree of rotation in the correct direction.

I do however agree that the guarantee must some how include authentification, this seller could have tripled His money if He would have taken that step prior to selling.
