I'm taking the opportunity to load up on common date Peace dollars in the AU - MS range. I just started collecting these since I found out they are cheaper than Morgans and I think they're pretty cool in their own right. I can't wait to show off some of my purchases!

heading to the coin shops today to see if they lowered their prices. I doubt it though.

I bought some generic silver yesterday. The shop did lower their prices and didn't change their premiums any, but they had very very little silver to choose from. Right after I made my purchase, another guy went in asking for silver and all they had for generic was about 5-6 ounces left, no 90% junk silver. The rest was all premium stuff like ASE's, Panda's, ATB, etc.

I have a few common date Peace dollars but don't really collect them. I buy a few from time to time but strictly for their silver content. I really like the Morgan design better and have about 50 of them. Like the PDs, they are common date nothing special silver dollars... but I like the way they look so collect the commons for their silver content and historical look.

I've been getting AU to low MS PDs for about $38 after shipping. They have some good prices if you're looking to just get fine or VF ones as well.
