I purcahsed this book from my local coin shop for $5 used. I don't know what kind it is? I never saw a Federal Coin Fund Book? Anyway I purchased it and started about 6 months ago... Not difucult to complete but, it fit my budget. Wanted to share it with you all....

Nice, covering the last years of silver. I found one that looks just like it at a garage sale this summer except it covers 64-87 P&D, except for still missing a 64D, I hijacked the 1980's and put choice 2001-2010 coins in those spots instead. Incidentally enough, I paid $5 for it as well.

that gold lettering on the cover looks very much like a Dansco Album

The whole thins looks like a Dansco.... except for the "federal coin fund" or whatever that means. maybe it is a real old dansco?

I believe I heard that President Obama is bringing BACK the Federal Coin Fund to raise a few more trillion dollars from taxpayers.....
And I don't think this will be an "elective" option for us little sheep.

Since Dansco will make custom albums, probably an album made for some psuedo high end collection of the month type thing.

Correct. It is a Dansco album. Dansco does make customized albums, so I suspect this company did just that.

Thanks for the info everyone. I suspected it was a Dansco alblum but it did not say anywhere...

Going to put it on a shelf for my grandkids in 20 years!

I just googled the "Federal Coin Fund 57 Greentree Drive Dover Delaware 19901", ...nada

Still a nice abbreviated set!

Nice set, I like it! The only Kennedy half I haven't found is the bi-centennial 40%. ffd

Thanks very one. What to do next. The 7070 Dansco looks like a very cool idea. Kind of a lifetime achievement. I have learned on this forum to have all coins be close to the same grade... Maybe a XF
