I have an opportunity to buy each of a complete silver Roosevelt date and mintmark set (1946-64) and a complete Ike date and mint mark set (including both 1976 types P&D, but without 1972 Types 2 and 3). What's the most I should pay?

Clad only on the Ike's. No proofs for either.

I would probably go $45 on the Eisenhower dollar set. This is assuming it includes the 1973 and 1973D (only issued in Mint sets) and all coins average on the lower end of uncirculated. This does not include an album. Depending on condition, I would give an extra $10~15 for a Dansco album (7176, which has holes for the BU 40% coins). I would have to do some more math for the Roosevelt dimes.

A search of recently completed sales on ebay shows the Roosevelt silver dime sets selling from $125.00 to $167.50.

Those are circulated sets you see selling for around $150, which is basically their spot value. A BU Roosie set retails anywhere from $240 - $300. If you pick your spots, take your time, and buy only good deals on the individual coins you might get it for $220ish. So if you can pick up a BU set for $220 or less you're getting a great deal.
I know almost nothing about Ikes and have never collected a single one, but I think that set is worth more than $45 with all the varieties. I mean that Dansco alone is worth almost half that price.
edit...I misread, now I see you said it's without the varieties. yeah that's not particularly valuable. I wouldn't buy that set at all.

The Roosevelt dimes, I have a question. Is the set just the business strikes or does it include the Proof years and the Silver Proofs? If so, then instead of 200 - 350 dollars, you are looking at closer to $500.00
