The coin looks better in hand as usual. Has semi PL surfaces. What would you grade? This is also a VAM 1-B unsure if that carries any significant premium.

Looks MS-62 to me; too much abrasion on the cheek to go higher IMO.

I was at one of my local dealers the other day and he had a partial Morgan set he had purchased years back that he finally decided to break out and sell......this was the coin that popped out at me.....I couldn't leave it alone.....wasn't a need for my set but he gave me such a good price on it I could not pass it up. At least I thought it was a good deal.

Personally I hate fingerprints and I see at least two, maybe four, and there is some pitting or spotting on the obverseso altogether this lacks eyeappeal to me.

Hope I am not too much of a wet blanket.

Looks like fingerprints on the obverse near bottom of cap. It brings this in at Ms-62
