1972 Ds, Any Difference?

Usually when my Dad had more than 1 coin I could find some kind of variation in them, these 2 I cannot. Anyone else see something?

I think he might have kept them because they are two very nice cents! I don't see any obvious difference either.

A slight difference in die alignment, 1st coin has a larger rim on the obverse also and unless you changed the lighting between the two pics, then also a difference in color.

also remember the mintmarks were hand struck then so the placement as well as alignment and Seriff might be different hard to tell need them side by side

From 1969-1975 didn't they have striking problem with Abe on obverse seam to remember a half coated LCM. the coins had half of the strike on obverse and full on reverser, they called them half coats?

All 1972D cents are the same save a master die doubling issue that's worth nothing more than the non-master die doubled coins, and a few doubled dies that can be worth something. Anything regarding hubbing weaknesses or die polishing or weak strikes would be curiosity sake only and have no extra value. This holds true with any cent.
