Here is a pic of a Hershey Coin Club Medal from 1963. My father worked for Hershey and I wrote to a friend of his in Hershey PA to get this back in 1963

Many very nice pictures. I haven't been able to get any results like these so I use my flatbed scanner @ 2400dpi. Get major detail but still not the same.

Here's a 1678 Potosi 8 Reales cob. Well worn but nice. I wish I knew how to have the picture coming out looking like the silver color that it is instead of the goldish color.

The color of the light makes a difference If you have a white light then it should look lighter.

Here's one of my favorite babies: Bought it in 1974 for $48 from Rhode Island Rare Coin Investments.

Just joined and have a lot of pics to show off. Took note on some of the pics on this thread, many were using a flash or direct light on the coin, especially the silver. No flash with silver, or any coin for that matter unless you are going to diffuse the flash (put something white'ish in front of it). Some people use a milk plastic gal. container, cut a hole for the camera lens and use a lot of light coming in the sides through plastic. Have tons of ways to take pics, just ask.
