Quote: What sort of celebrations do you have? About the same as our U.S. friends, we have our families over big meals, mostly Turkey I would say, wash a lot of dishes. that kind of thing. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canucks, we, will have to wait until Nov. to wish our neighbors a Happy thanksgiving.

Thanks to all of our friends South of the border for remembering!
I kinda get lucky on this...my mother in law is from NY, so we get to do it all again next month!

Thanks darryldarryl => you too
We ate bird at my brother-in-law's place on Saturday night (it rocked) ... he gave us an obscene amount of leftovers to take home with us (awesome) ... so this was my Sunday/yesterday's activities:
Woke-up and ate a plate-full of turkey and left-overs, took a nap, woke and nibbled on more turkey, drank a few beer and watched football, took another nap, woke and drank a beer or two while I ate a turkey sandwich, then watched more football, napped again, woke-up in time to make myself a quick bedtime turkey-snack and then decided that I'd better go to sleep ... *tough day*

... watched the Winnipeg Jets vs Canadiens in Winnipeg yesterday... on tv. I really like the Winnipeg logo and jerseys and all. I was gonna post yesterday, but got too into the game. Shame that it wasn't a bit closer of a match, but at least one got past Price and that puck was scooped up and saved for the ages. Maybe Winnipeg will be my second team... after Toronto. Go ahead and yuck it up... I'm still an underdog booster. And today... turkey, perogies, cabbage rolls(<lotsa Slovak in the family), stuffing, meatballs, mashed 'tatoes, all with gravy, and cherry cheesecake with ice cream and butter tarts and cup cakes and... all contributed to a tension just below my ribs. I'm lazing about a lot today.
