crystalk, I plan on getting rolls next Friday, as that's when they will be available at my bank. I am already planning on shipping a roll to Djluster, so if you need a roll, PM me an address, and if you don't mind waiting until next weekend, I will ship one off to you the same time I ship Danny's. Or more than one roll if you need more than that for your friends. Just let me know. I guess I will have to open the rolls to know what mint they are..... Or I can just send you a roll and let you open it. Either way is fine with me.... Tighe

Picked up two rolls from my bank today, put one away and opened the other. I can't see these dollars doing any better than the SBA and SAC dollars. Cheap looking and feel more like a token or chip rather than money. I'm not impressed. Ron

Hello Everyone, I agree with you about that. I mean Does anyone think these coins are really going to be used as money or are people just going to hoard them?? I like the Idea of honoring the presidents and the Statue of Liberty on the back of the coin and the edge lettering but other than that Its not that different than the Sacagawea dollar. Eric

I think its outrageous the mint sells circulating coins for well above face value. I think its highway robbery selling a roll of dollars for $35.95 or 2 rolls of quarters for $32.95 or a bag of 1000 quarters for $309.95! IMO they should sell those at face just like banks.

Guys, not to hijack the topic, but I've only used PayPal for ebay purchases. But if you want to you can actually email someone money, right? And what does it mean when PayPal says they want you to get certified or something like that? Switch from a credit card to a bank debit card? Is that a good idea? They have my credit card number only. Appreciate any info.

Crystalk, I will pm you in a second.
TSmith, you can send money to anyone via paypal as long as they have their email address associated with the account. I think. As far as being verified, I don't remember what it meant, but I do know a lot of places will only ship to verified addresses. Is this what you were referring to?

Tsmith3510 I NEVER use a credit card with PayPal as I prefer it come directly out of my checking account so my credit card is listed as a back up only, should they be unable to get funds from my bank on any given day. You always want to keep in mind, regardless of who or how you use PayPal the recipient will have fees pulled out of the total actually received. If you owe someone $10 you had better send $11 to cover the transaction fees!

Got a phone call yesterday to say my box of Pres dollars was in I jumped into the truck and drove over to the credit union. I picked up my box and drove home. What do I find when I get home.... A box with rolls of Scacs and Susuie B's I called the credit union and they said "But you ordered a box of dollar coins Washingtons are dollar bills aren't they? I now have to go looking at banks for some rolls.... I can't complain too much as they will always order change for me when I ask.

My bank finally got the Washington dollars this week - so I now have a roll. Two of them are on their way to Germany. My brother has hosted exchange students for several years and he started a couple of them collecting US State Quarters last year. He was over for dinner last night and when he heard I had the new dollar coins asked if he could send a couple of them to the kids. He was in Europe earlier this month so I got a few German Eurocents and Swiss francs in exchange. :-) - Sam

Okay gang! Any one getting P mint coins as all I am currently hearing about are Denver strikes? I have to have both for my friends in Europe! Sorry for being a pain but my local bank is now asking me where I am getting my Washington dollars as they have customers requesting them and the home office WILL NOT call them out! Thats sad, but true!
