I'm getting close to completing a set of Peace dollars - need 1921, 1922-S, 1923-S, 1923-D, and 1924-P. |

All I have is circulated Lincoln cents :( I'm not really focused on completing sets but trying to save up for some nicer individual coins.

The only complete set I have is that of the Flying Eagle cents. This must be the shortest type set with only two years to collect (more if you include die varieties). I don't count the 1856 cent because it wasn't minted for circulation. Edited by lizzyjo

I have a complete set of Peace dollars in BU-MS....And about half of the TypeII S mint Double Eagles in AU to MS. Cheers,Brewzz |

Just my opinion, but try to stick to a set without any super expensive keys, sets like that usually equal a uncompleted set. At least for me it did. I am doing a date set of Large Cents from 1816 to 1857 VG - VF not super expensive but a fine set if I ever complete it ! Also Proof Ike's and Kennedy's, another nice set.
Like was said Rossevelt's, Franklins, but I think Buffalo's are a beautiful set to tackle next.

I would recommend Franklin halves. I started a set last year and I am 3 coins away from completing it. Its a very easy set to complete and is quite affordable. |

Congratulations! I have a complete set of "cheap" dollars, including SAC, SAB, and Eisenhower. That's why I call myself dollarcoins. I plan to work on a set of Peace dollars. However, I don't believe that I can have a complete set of Morgan dollars. |

I don't collect by the series. I'm putting togather a type set of NGC certified coins.
I need 13 to complete the set.

An update since my last post here..... I had the good fortune to find the 1909S and a 1914D Lincoln Wheat Cents - a 1913S TII Buffalo nickel (completes that set of business strikes - no varieties yet) plus I got the 1885CC Morgan as well as an 1889CC Morgan. Ralph |

For business strikes Presidential dollars are definately the easiest out of all the series to complete from circulation. I think franklins are moderately easy with some patience, I managed to finish mine from circulation. Sacagawea's, Jefferson nickels, and Kennedy halves are also possible to complete from circulation. -XoG |

if you completed the dimes, and considering the cost of the three quarter keys, look at the $1/2 sets.
