I keep seeing things like this where sellers try to hide various things (flaws, dings, cuts, marks, etc.) that all coins especially Morgans have. This seller has obviously tilted and or slanted the coin. This particular Morgan is most likely a very nice coin, but looking at the sellers photos, you cannot possibly gain any information about how the grade was determined. Personally I dont think those photos are bad. Theres a lot of them and you can see the coin well enough to see if its ugly or not. NGC does a good job as well
There are horrible examples out there. I think this was just a case of trying to get rid of the glare that comes from photographing a coin in the GSA holder.
Bad photos are commonplace on ebay, although I don't think these are that bad. What I hate are pictures that are out of focus or too small to see any details.
