Mine is without a doubt either Jeffersons or Lincolns.

I have much more world than US coins (though admittedly I do appear to have more coins from the US than from any other individual country except USSR and the Russian Federation). Restricting to US coins... well, in terms of sheer quantity, there's probably just barely more Lincoln cents than State Quarters (both are likely in the 60-80 range), and I'm not sure on Lincoln cents vs. Washington quarters or State Quarters vs. wheat cents (though I'd bet on the former in either pair). As for value, my ~XF 1841 large cent (plus another Braided Hair large cent in lower grade, plus a dateless Matron Head) probably beats any other US type I have

I started collecting Walkers and Franklins years ago and a majority of what I have is probably in them. Nothing special in the sets really - but they have always been my favorites. Next would be commemoratives modern and classic.

This poll is coming out about the way I thought it would. About half have the bulk of their collection in modern coins. Though I would not be surprised if it went to a higher number. Of course not a surprise that one member said Quote: I'm the only one so far that said Colonial :-) Not surprised his bulk is in Colonial ... but a little surprised he is the only one. It is interesting how some members are focused in on one or two series.

Quantity: Lincoln cents for sure. I hoarded a lot of junk as a YN including 40+ rolls of steel pennies and likely a few thousand average circulated wheat cents. Quality: Looking at my spreadsheet Capped Bust Halves, Quarters, Dimes, and Half Dimes make up around 20% of the value of my collection. Seated Liberty coins are a close second.

I collect all US coinage. As far as what makes up the majority of it, I would have to say my 300-400 Morgans & Peace dollars.

I don't see a place for it, but I would define my collection as a set of high grade "type" coins. My goal is to collect the highest grade I can reasonably afford of each type of US coin.

Rolled my copper pennies, came out to 7 rolls plus about 30-40 loose. Increased my silver holdings to 1.3 kg + a 1970 Kennedy half and a Barber dime.

I mainly enjoy collecting world coins but I do also dabble in US coins. I usually pull coins out of circulations so the majority of my US coins are Lincolns, Jeffersons, Kennedy, Roosies, Washingtons. Some day, I would like to extend my collect to the "older" US coins.
