Did any of you catch this on the Mint's calendar? Product 15RA for August 24th. It's just a placeholder as it's a mystery product with no details that just showed up on the Mint's calendar today. I wonder what the $1 coin will be? Maybe a 2015 reverse proof or enhanced unc Sackie? Hope it's $13.95 like last years edition!

I would like a 2015 reverse proof Native American dollar and a Series 2013 two dollar bill in the set, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Chances are it'll be an enhanced uncirculated dollar and one dollar bill again, but I'm hoping the Mint will change it up.

Hopefully this is unexpected bone thrown to the masses who missed out on the Truman C&C set. Last year's $1 Coin & Currency set was really an unexpected since they hid the fact the $1 coin was an ENHANCED uncirculated within the text so most people missed out the first round. Hope this year is the reverse proof Native American dollar. Great design, probably the best of all the NA designs so far.

This could be the 4 coin reverse proof set that everyone has been talking about, but with a SAC instead of the Truman. That would be nice and make the Truman the true king Key to the series.

On another forum someone emailed the mint about the Truman wording being left out on the Eisenhower page. Here was his question and response. Notice how AMBIGUOUS they left it...

Hello, Regarding the upcoming Eisenhower Coins & Chronicles set, is the reverse proof dollar coin just limited to these sets, or will they be issued for others? Truman was just in the Coins and Chronicle sets, and that was noted on the ordering information, this time it is not. Thank you,

XXXXX XXXXXX This is the answer that I received: Dear

XXXXX XXXXXX, This letter is in response to your recent correspondence to the United States Mint. We are happy to assist you with information on the 2015 Coin & Chronicles Set. The 2015 Coin & Chronicles Set - Dwight D. Eisenhower will also have a Presidential $1 Reverse Proof Coin minted in Philadelphia like the 2015 Coin & Chronicles Set ? Harry S. Truman set. The information for Item Number AX2, 2015 Coin & Chronicles Set. The 2015 Coin & Chronicles Set - Dwight D. Eisenhower, is located on our website giving the description on the item. Presidential $1 Reverse Proof Coin is limited to these specialty items for 2015. We apologize the information was not clear on the ordering information that you received.

Now, tell me this blank set dosn't raise your eyebrow aside the august 26 release which would be too early for them or they would shoot themselves in the foot for Johnson & kennedy

They had better, at the very least, leave truman alone if they're up to something though!

The mystery only deepens. No one has speculated on any of the blogs that the mystery coin could be an enhanced or RP 2015 ASE. Everybody seems to think the odd wording on Eisenhower C&C might mean that one or more RP Presidential dollars might show up in this offering? That would really tick off some collectors if so. Only can wait and see. But it has been an interesting summer with the Mint and all of these specialty sets and coins taking center stage over the usual yearly proof sets and PM singles.

The "specialty items" only implies Coin and Chronicles.

Sneaky.

Would have been sneakier if they said "Presidential $1 Reverse Proof Coin is limited to these C&C sets for 2015."

Coins and Currency, anyone?

Here is my guess: RP Sac and $2. Jefferson sent Lewis & Clark, who met Sacagawea.
