About 10 years ago, my son got an entire roll of 1944 Mercury dimes from the roll dispenser at the store he worked at. I still have all of these. I love the mercs. Report this Post to the Staff

One day a guy came in and handed me a handful of change to buy a six pack of Natty Lite beer. I could tell that it was silver as soon as he handed it to me. A bunch of silver quarters, and a very nice 1924 Peace dollar and a 1948 Franklin half. Plus one day I opened a roll of quarters and they were all 1964 or before. The best part is they let me buy coins from my drawer for the face value. Report this Post to the Staff

I had saved over $350 worth of pocket change in a container from about 1995-2004, but recently searched and no silver. Since 2004, I havent really used cash much, but I am going to start more now.
