This is one of the top ten in my collection Of course it would be an Eisenhower Another, I just love the toning and condition on this one Just had to buy this when I saw it. He was talking to me Definitely on the upper end of the top ten, I had to search for quite a while to find this one, Just could not get it out of my head until I found one, Know what I mean ? 1974 Eisenhower Micro S Proof (40%Silver) A one die coin, Average Eisenhower die life 10,000 coins In which it has been recently discovered that the same die was used to strike the Copper-Nickel proof version of the 74 S Proof 1974 Eisenhower Micro S Proof Copper Nickel Clad. The mate to the Silver version above struck with the same dies Average Eisenhower die life 10,000 coins. Two different metallic composition coins struck with the same die. total estimated population of both versions 10,000 divide by the two metallic versions. exact break down of how many of each is unknown.

Number 9 getting closer One of favorite error coins,I had no idea what had happened to this coin until I posted it on this forum and our own resident expert Mike Diamond helped me out with this one. A great guy with an incredible wealth of knowledge. in-collar uniface strike against a split planchet (striated side of the latter pointing toward the obverse die)

Stewart thanks for posting such a interesting group of coins. I have looked through your pictures several times now ... just hoping to picked up some knowledge of more things to watch for. As always I am impressed by your amazing collection of Ike dollars. But know I am going to be checking every 2005 proof set I see ... looking for one of those detached leg bison

For my #7 coin I had to pick the coin that got me started on the modern matte proof coins I thought I had some "good" pics, but can't find them right now. The pics I do have are when one of them was still in the OGP holder. I have two that I have sent into NGC one is a SP 68 one is a SP 69

TheNickelGuy very nice list of coins (not all of them fall under modern coins) I keep looking at most every 1971 proof set I see, hoping to find one with out the "S". Maybe someday I will get lucky. I found it very hard to get my list to 10 also. Ones that didn't make it were Presidential dollars with no edge letters and henning nickel.
