Explosive OCD? Isn't that very dangerous to yourself and the people around you?

I wonder if the demand for the dino coin will continue years down the road or will it wane as the novelty wears off?
Using the ladybug and parasaurolophus coins as examples, I'm thinking the premiums will hold if not go higher.

^I think the demand for dinosaur coins in general will always be strong, I just wish they would stick with a series. The silver fossils were awesome; although, they did lose popularity by the end. Maybe this series will be a longer term winner?
Rest in Peace

I too thought the fossil coins were short lived. With all the available information in our Museum of Natural History, you'd think they could make that series go on indefinitely. btw... what was the composition of the 'blob' that the fossils were in? Plastic? Metal? other mineral?

I believe that the whole coin is 99.99% silver and that the "blob" is somehow chemically aged to give it the fossil look.

Totally agree. Six months minimum from order to delivery? Are they joking?!! Ridiculous.

And when September comes and goes without shipping, then what?

BTW, if the RCM is having so much trouble producing these coins, who here believes that they will ever produce coins 2, 3 and 4 in the series? These production issues must be eating away the margin available on a $30 coin.

yummy, yummy ... it makes them even more vaulable (I don't usually even give a poop about painted coins, but apparently this particular coin is causing enough mayhem to actually be worth something ... someday ... maybe)

=> either way => cool, I got one for my collection ... do you?

I called RCM this Tuesday. They told me the dino will be available early September. I have 9 dinos pending there. But they said I would get them for sure eventually.
