mine is back to 10/31 again. Just had a weird thought, could those people who received earlier are returned from the 1st batch? If they have the rest 100k produced, why they suddenly stop shipping out.

We all know the dies used to make the " 1st batch" are like a finger-print, IF the 2nd and 3rd batch's have the same defects, in the same areas as the earlier releases, We will know just how the QC is at the mint!!!!! IF they wanted to fix the problems, they would of taken the proper steps to ensure better final products. JMO.

I'm glad I canceled this last batch on SF sets. I have three PCGS MS70, all three of their varieties, and two sets sealed that should be "first strike" eligible. I had ordered five more sets on the last day just in case they trended for a higher price. After Silvertowne sold those lucky few of us the PCGS 70's for $249 I thought canceling was a no brainer. I really need to get back into finishing my 5 oz PCGS ATB SET. I am through with the 2011s but haven't got into the 2012s yet. If silver continues the upward trend my Morgan and ATB set are gonna look real nice. If God willing we can see sub $30 silver, my wall of siilver bricks os gonna get thick and tall.:)

I have 2 order on Wednesday (1 day before cut off) and 3 orders on Thursday (the cut off day).... they all were 10/31 ship... then last week changed to 9/28.... nothing happened until a few days ago that the Wed orders went on reserve and charged my CC.... I checked today and they are shipped 10/3 and the first one of the Thurs order (10:46AM) went to reserve, the other two (2:15pm and 3:23pm) orders went back to 10/31 ship date. Does that mean they are going back to strike some more set for part of the last day of orders? Btw, both of my orders has 2 set ($299.90 + shipping/set) are expected to arrive on Friday (2 business day remain). One order has other ASE coins (over $300 for the invoice).... in another word, they don't really have the exact $300/invoice limitation when considering free shipping upgrade.

With boxing and shipping and inventory ect I would think everything thats going to be struck has or is being finished up by now. It probably takes at least a week just to get them to PBGS and get them accounted for before they can start sending them out.

My two sets ordered on July 03 at 9:30 PM ET shipped today and will arrive Friday. My two sets ordered on July 05 at 3:30 PM ET have reverted back to the 10/31 date as others reported. I suspect this means that they were seeing a lot of cancellations and thought they might fill all remaining orders with current stock but now it looks like they will have to wait on sets in the pipeline. I agree that there is not time to start fresh, they already have more product coming, it just isn't in the warehouse yet.
Once again, I will say that I have never seen any evidence that the mint has shipped out returned product to another customer. For one thing, it is just too expensive to have a system in place that opens returns and checks them out to make sure that they are in a condition to return to stock. It would not surprise me one bit if PBGS makes more money by sending returns to the mint for disposal than it would by returning them to stock.

If they only get paid by shipment its possible since theyd be able to add another shipping bill on the total. I wouldnt be surprised if the above was true, and I wouldnt be surprised with back orders like this if they reshipped sets. In the end well never really know. The only thing we really do know is that PBGS certainly does a lot of things they arent really supposed to (like give dealers early shipments) but who knows how far it goes. I think its be safe to say whatever makes PBGS the most money is probably what theyre doing
