It depends. It's wonderful number for satanist, black metal fan, etc. :)

Received a shipping notice last night.

The Moose should be here today.

And...

The following items have been shipped:

25th Anniversary of the Loonie - $1 Fine Silver Loonie
$10 Fine Silver Coin - Praying Mantis
Fine Gold 50-cent 150th Anniversary of the Cariboo Gold Rush
Fine Silver $10 Coin - HMS Shannon
Fine Silver $20 Coin - Lismer, Nova Scotia Fishing Village
Fine Silver $20 Coin - Robert Bateman Moose

This may be the single largest shipment I've ever gotten from the mint.

I checked my email. No confirmation from the mint for me.
I'm waiting on 11 different items. If they would have shipped them a long time ago
I would have bought more by now! They are losing out.

Even after this shipment, I'm still waiting for 13 coins.

I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not but I contacted the Mint last week to express my "frustration" .

Maybe they listened? Or maybe I just won this week's shipping lottery.

I've been told growing up that 7 is a divine number representing god and 3 is the number of his trinity. So 6 is not divine and three of them mocks that holy trinity. Also, in music, 6 semi-tones is referred to as something like the Devil's Chord, or Interval. Think of Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People" and you'll instantly see hear how it sounds "off", and it is never used in Gregorian Chant or hymns or anything of that nature.

It's much simpler: 666 is number of the beast (c) Bible

The nefarious connotations of 666 weren't invented by some heavy metal band -- they are rooted in the Bible.
The final book of the New Testament is Revelation, and for centuries theologians have pondered its highly symbolic, prophetic language. Revelation tells of impending Armageddon, an end of all time, when a great war will be fought between good and evil, and God will triumph. In Revelation, "the beast," also called the Antichrist, personifies evil.

Revelation, Chapter 13 speaks of the beast and how to identify his followers. According to verses 16 and 17, they will have the mark or the name or number of the beast on their right hands or foreheads. Verse 18 introduces the number 666 itself: "Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

It's unclear why the specific number 666 is the number of the beast. According to Dial-the-Truth Ministries, the number 6 is the number of man because in the Bible, God created man on the sixth day. Elsewhere in the Bible (Matthew 16:23), Satan is described as being "man-centered" (as opposed to God-centered). Thus the devil's number would be a twist on man's number. This is just one theory, and the number 666 has generated plenty of debate.

Hi. I'm brand new to the forum (literally my first post). I love collecting Canadian NCLT. I hope you'll forgive my newby questions, but is one able to buy Royal Canadian Mint coins from certain Canada Post branches(Canadian post offices)? I only ask, because my uncle lives in the Ottawa area. He has been doing me a favor by buying me the 5-coin HMS Shannon $2 sets and shipping them to me in the states. He ordered from the Royal Canadian Mint over a month ago and just received them in today's mail. If I had known about this Canada Post program, I would have had him buy through that channel; it would have been much quicker. What's the catch? Is it only the biggest post offices that carry the coins? And only certain issues? Thank you for your patience and answers.

Oh, thanks for the link:) Pretty cool how you can order coins online and have Canada Post ship them for you without even setting foot in the post office (if I understood correctly what I read at the Canada Post website). Here, I thought my uncle's only option was to wait on line, wrap, and pay at the counter to send me the coins (that's what he did today). I'm 38 years old, but I guess I'm still in the technological stone age, too, because I would have done shipped that way, too.

From my understanding the 5 pack of twoonies was only avail through the mint. Some items avail online through canada post. Most things the postal outlets can get in. But some are exclusive to the mint.
