kim, Yes I already know about the Book of Revelation, I was simply recanting a story of my youth that a Catholic priest told me explaining its mythos. I never said anything about heavy metal; MM is pop-rock at best. The BofR was written by "John" in jail, and talks of oppression/authoritarianism in deep code and metaphor so as not alert the guards as to what he was actually writing about.

If anyone /really/ wants I can explain this "666" passage via PMs, but I'm going to leave this thread open to talks of MOOSE. Just let it be known that it's an exaggerated metaphor and possibly written on hallucinogens or a trance.

well, I guess if you are a Catholic and have a COA# that contains 66, better consider to sell your coin at a premium to Chinese people, in Chinese sayings 66 means "everything goes well"

Good news for sure.

Unfortunately, my mail carrier was empty handed today but I'm sure he'll have a delivery for me tomorrow.

Got the delivery today. The Moose is very well done - happy that I ordered a second from CP last week.

I was again amazed by the Group Of Seven Lismer coin. As with the Varley, after receiving one from the Mint, I immediately went to the Post Office and bought a second. There is a very high level of craftsmanship in these coins.

Somewhat disappointed by the 1/25th gold rush coin but will comment on that in another topic and include a picture to show a packaging issue.

Still conflicted about this coin... It Is a nice design. I like how the moose fills the reverse to the edge with no borders of blank space shrinking the design. I suppose the idea is to have the moose have more of a presence. The eyes are touched up really nice too. They almost sparkle like one of them crystal-pasted coins.

But, I still find the whole coin a bit unbalanced, with slightly too much white along the top and the antler doing a weird triangular thing to the left. If the moose was frosted more than the slight, almost just bullion finish it has now, I feel the it would pop out more. As is the moose looks slightly sickly to me.

As a fan of Bateman's work, I'm still a bit disappointed that this was the artwork the RCM chose. All the more so that the 1oz silver moose appears a bit underwhelming despite efforts.
