How about this counterstamp? Anyone seen this shape before? I inherited this from my grandfather #128150;

Stamped to a "T" Just thought I would share this one and was found in a Bank Roll awhile ago. The "T" Stamp Indentation went right through to the Obverse side of Lincolns Head, Face, Neck, Bust and under his Chin! 1961-P Lincoln Cent

I just found this IHC in a mixed bag of misc coins. I guess someone really wanted to make sure the date was known...

I'm liking the older ones. Actually with that song (Elektronomia - Fire) your post would qualify for Sprue's jukebox page in GD

Here's an older counterstamp from the early-mid 1850's, when Spanish coins were still legal tender in the U.S. The host coin is a 1797 two real or "two bit" piece, being the equivalent of a U.S. quarter, thereabouts. This coin was minted in Mexico. The Meschutt brothers owned five coffee houses in the NY City area. They were, in effect, the "Starbuck's" of their day. As counterstamps go, this is one of the "classic" issues. Dave Bowers collected many of these and wrote about the issue.

I got this George II halfpenny in a lot of mixed coins off ebay a few years ago, and I've been meaning to post it here for almost as long. I'm pretty sure it's a love token because it's been bent, though I can't imagine that trying to bend a copper coin that thick would be any fun.
