As many of you may know, individual replacement pages for Dansco albums are available frm a number of suppliers. Typically, one buys a replacement page to add to an existing album, as in the case when the passage of time requires a new page to continue a series in an album. In addition, certain individual replacement pages are available even for "Page 1" of albums for certain series.

With that, I've built "semi-custom" Dansco albums in order to combine series into single albums. My issue being my dislike of having a Dansco album holding 1 or 2 pages (and some of the Dansco albums for certain series like Shield nickels, Liberty nickels, and Anthony Dollars including 2 pages, one of which is blank), For example, I've put together the following semi-custom albums:

1) Nickels - purchased a blank Dansco Album labeled "Nickels" and the Replacement Liberty nickels page and the two Replacement Buffalo nickels pages to create a single album holding both series.

2) Dimes - a purchased a blank unlabeled Dansco album, the two Replacement Mercury dimes pages and the four Replacement Roosevelt dimes pages (no proofs) to create a single album holding both series.

Doing this conserves a little bit of space, and saves a little bit of money, as what was four albums is now two. I'm hoping to do this with other series, but cannot find the specific replacement pages at the various suppliers I have tried (Coin Supply Express, Dansco Album Store, Wizard, and JP's Corner). The replacement pages I'm looking for would be:

1) 6110 Album page 1 for Shield nickels (in order to add it to front of my semi-custom album for nickels, thus housing all "Classic" Nickels -- Shield nickels, Liberty nickels, and Buffalo nickels -- in a single 4-page Dansco album).

2) 7180 Album page 1 for Anthony Dollars (in order to add to the front of a Sacagawea dollars album thus creating a semi-custom "Small Dollars" album).

3) 7183 album pages 1 and 2 for Sacagawea dollars (in connection with #2 above, put all 3 in an empty album labeled "Dollars" for a semi-custom "Small Dollars" album, although I may take a shortcut and just add 7180 page 1 to an existing 7183 album even though the title on the cover at that point wouldn't be entirely correct).

4) 6108 Album pages 1 and 2 for holding two-cent pieces and three-cent nickels, respectively (hope to add to end of Indian cent album).

I've looked for these individual pages at 4 different online suppliers named above and can't find anything, other than buying a whole album and removing the pages I want, which sort of defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do. If I could find an existing used album for any of these in good enough shape and cheap enough, I'd consider going that route, although not sure what I'd do with leftover empty album and pages, if any.

I also know buying blank album pages and labeling them myself is an option, but I'd like to avoid doing that, especially where Dansco already makes a page that's exactly what I want, even if the page is somewhat difficult to obtain by itself.

Anyone got any suggestions on where I can find these specific pages?

Regards,
Brian

I commend you, because I have more than one custom album myself.

It seems that Wizard only has the modern stuff listed...

... but it might be worthwhile to contact them and see it they can get you the other pages via special order.

You also might want to contact Dansco directly. I have purchased replacement binders directly from them in the past, maybe they would do the same for pages.

What would also be helpful is to purchase the individual "Page 1" for each of 7104 (Lincoln Shield) and the 7114 ( Jefferson nickel 2006 and later) and add them to the end of my 7100 and 7113, respectively. It might not happen, but should the cent be abolished before 2027 or the nickel before 2022, I'll have a whole album with just one page, which I'm trying to avoid.

It looks like some online vendors plan to offer these (notably, Wizard, which have product pages for each with an option to be notified when they come available).

If you do end up with the 1 page album an no room to put it in another album a misc album could be a good solution. I hate the 1 page album too, I stuck my territories page in with my State Quarters because of that.

If I had to guess Id say youd probably be okay on the nickel front, but the penny could be wise to stick in the old one and if that fills up just do it again page by page. That HAS to go at some point but who knows when. Its already survived long past its usefulness

Nice going. That is exactly what I've been doing for a long, long time now only with Whitman Albums. I use blank Album covers and add pages for all Dimes, for example. Start with the Sitting Liberty and go all the way to Roosevelts. Doing this though I have to eleminate proofs and all error types. With Cents I start with Flying Eagles and go all the way to present. Same with Nickel, Quarter and Half coins. And with Whitman press on letters/numbers, it is easy to lable the Cover and under each coin.
Lots of fun making your own Albums and no manufacturer to tell you what you need.
