@allspice - I know. I understand the post office anger. If in a small 40,000 town one post office gets 50 phone calls within a week for them imagine in a big city like Toronto. The lady said first come first served because she just did not want to call people more likely. A little lazy.

@Tristen, yeah, the phone calls must drive them a little batty. The target date appears to be April 30th. If I hear from my PO sooner than April 30th that the butterfly is in, I'll let you know so you can be on the lookout. It helps when the clerk has experience ordering coins...
@ Bibo, when you pick up your butterfly from the PO tomorrow, could you let us know if all ran smoothly?

@allspice - The manager who always ordered the coins talked to me. I may call them for updates like every week on Tuesday probably but still wish they would call. Ya let me know if you could.

Hope the delivery date he told me is right. Will let you know.
Weird thing is. I order from 2 different POs. Both are confirmed they success to place their order.
But 1 PO said the delivery date is today or tomorrow. The other one said it will be ship in April 30th.
A member here was able to score a Butterfly at the PO today.

@Bibo - Mine seem to still be unsure if they will even get one. Be lucky yours are getting one. So much confusion at my post office. Ten thousand things are going around in the ladies mind.

Post offices are busy places and they don't want to be bother by 50 phone calls enquiring about one coin. That is why some get angry when so many are asking for the butterfly coin. Selling coins is not their main business.

@ MoneyPenney, depends on the PO. Some clerks couldn't be bothered with ordering coins, some are neutral (if it comes in fine, otherwise, too bad attitude), and then there is the one who is really into it. I was lucky to find a clerk that cares & finds the time to deal with coins and is cheerful about it. Took some searching, but worth the effort.

I went to a few post offices today and the clerks all told me that hadn't received any coins today. They did mention that many people had already been in inquiring about vario US coins

@Koin Hunter - Not bad price but shipping kills at $26 but still cheaper with shipping then some other site. Shipping in the US is $10 so a good deal for people who are livening in the US.

I don't think having an item sold out in 30 minutes counts as plenty of opportunities.
