$500 for $500 will come out, mintage of 7500, 1/4 ounce of gold. The only real speculation is whether they will be 24k or 14k.

if we did see a $500/4/$500 I think it will be in the form of a 5 oz Fine Silver. Heck, that is the price of all NCLT 5 oz Silvers already - it'd just be nice to have the actual face value as what you pay for it. Besides, that would follow in the same price vs silver $500 for 5 ounces, - as the $100/4/$100 per ounce. The $20 are a bit better at $80 for an ounce.

so I just got a $100 for $100 for my 30th birthday. It's a real nice coin. However, I have now been dragged into this series. Further down the rabbit hole I go. Have I missed any others? I realize the bison was the first release. What is the second and when did it come out?

Frankly, you could get quicker and better return of your investment by posting it on Kijiji or something.
Rest in Peace

To 'Cowbooy905', The Bison Coins are the first, and so far, the only 100/4/$100 coins.

For the rest of the commenters that follow - why do you keep stirring the pot? I keep getting dragged into this. If you don't want it...why did you buy it in the first place? For goodness sake, this is a 'coin collecting' forum. This is the same conversation over and over about whether or not it is legal tender (20/4/20 or 100/4/100 makes no difference. As has been previously stated over and over, you can always exchange them at the mint, or I believe the royal bank. BUT like any $100 bills it's up to the individual stores to accept them or not - no difference.

Hey dude keep it cool down. Don't need to yell at people just asking a single question.

I do not own even a single one of this coin.

The reason I aks that question is:

I got an offer 10 bisons for my brand new Sony 3D smart TV.

That person said it is money. I said I want cash.

I ask him why don't he bring it to Bank and get $1000 cash if it said $100 tender value.

In fact a lot of people hoard large amount of this coin.

And now want to trade back for something else.
