It's a paint billion coin. They take regular issue mint bullion, paint it and triple (or more) the price.
Not necessarily fake but definitely a post mint modification.

I buy from topworldcoins all the time. Great service, fast, cheap shipping. It only costs me $7 US to get 2-3 coins. They are great communication and will wait for a payment if needed. I got my whole set of color wildlife bullion from them. Two just arrived yesterday. They also have a company in the US, same name and great service. I highly recommend them!

There is apparently a better way, through this forum. I found a report an auction link under auctions ebay / ecrater sub forum a little ways down the list from our sub forum. It says it gets results faster as it links to a watch group I believe. I haven't read the link in awhile so I'm rusty on the explanation. I have yet to use it. Maybe someone who has can chime in. |

@ Leon Lai good call, this seller is out right lying in the body of his description. He also has pics of other counterfeit coins available in his description. He talks about how desirable the Birds of Canada coins are and how this is a limited Mintage. This is the worst case of deceit I've come across, however, the seller is in India. We need Mike in on this one! I hope mike reads this once and awhile. This seller is capable of selling many fakes. Maybe several people can report his 2 auction, even when finish still will have an impact. Sorry for rant, but the bold face lies,

The fake robin coin linked to by LeonLai was listed previously on ebay and went unsold as there were no bids.Since the post here there have been 20 bids,coincidence? The coin does not appear on eBay-Canada. "Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

maybe you promoted fake buyers....I know of a couple people that make accounts and buy all the counterfeit coins.....with no intention of paying....

The NCLT collectors had better start worrying about the value of the collections. I was just asked by a manufacturer if I wanted the new XMAS coins or superman. Some fun eh bambi........
