I just received an email with special deals from Colonial Acres - the last item they have is a 1999 Proof Like set that has the nickel flipped over - (all others are tails, nickel is heads)

Is this really considered an Error? Personally, I would never put a premium on it.

It is an error although I have heard its possible to flip a coin. The nickel looks a little big to flip but who knows. Someone here will know more..

Flipping a smaller denomination coin in a PL set is easy... just ask t_y... he watched me as I did it with a Twoonie right in front of him - took all of a minute...

I don't think it can be done with a nickel or silver dollar though.... just not enough plastic!!

I would never buy an "error" like this... the "error" is in the packaging, and I prefer to have errors with my coins.
