Cool 1945-P Merc Doubled Die Obverse / DDO !

grnwavdav Valued Member United States 139 Posts	Posted 12/09/2013 4:25 pm I picked this nice doubled die obverse up at a coin shop while I was on vacation. It is a nice class 2 DDO. You can see the doubling on every part of the date especially the 1 and 9. The tail of the 9 is noticeably doubled and the other digits have nice notching. Report this Post to the Staff

I know that this DDO#1 and it is supposed to be paired with a class 1 DDR; however, I don't see the notching or thickness on the reverse.
