4 are 90% silver content, the 1965 is clad. Do any of those years saved have any extra meaning to you or your dad?

in much better condition
than I had previous thought
hope you enjoyed viewing them

Is it a 1965 or 1963 dime? I had a hard time telling the last digit

1963 would be silver
1965 is clad

Looks like a 63.

I can feel their pain. but being taxed by a foreign power would make my blood boil. !!

They weren't being taxed by a foreign power. They were living in North America but the colonies were British and before the revolution most colonists considered themselves to be Englishmen and were loyal to the crown. The problem wasn't that they were being taxed, or being taxed by a "foreign power", it was the fact that they had no representation or voice in the Parliment that was passing the taxes upon them. Frankly if the colonies had been allowed to elect representative to the House of Commons the entire Revolutionary War might have been avoided and we might have still been part of the British Commonwealth today.

The most you really need to do is a quick acetone wash and then put them into flips of some sort. It is unlikely that the silvers will ever be worth much more than melt. But they will look good in an album of 2x2s!

Once in awhile I'll go through some change and find that in pretty good shape and reflect back on the design of the coin looking at the minuteman and say to myself "Massachusetts was upset about the unfair taxes levied on them by the British" but today a lot of MA residents people exit to New Hampshire that has no sales or income tax or the MA residents go elsewhere because of MA's high taxes.

New Hampshire gets their pound of flesh in a different way is all.
