Quote:Those, like me, who live in the US didn't have to pay any tax when we bought the coin from the RCM. I know, the world is unfair... you right forgot about US sellers Added: does any buyer interested in the 2014 Superman 1/2oz Cover #1 for issue + shipping? Before I will sell/trade it?

I received my $10 coin on Monday and I'm very impressed with it. I still prefer the $20 coin due to it's vivid colors then the $10 coin. I'm not really impressed with the $15 coin. I think coins could be more vivid, for me it's the weakest of all 4 coins. They could of chosen a different cover. It's interesting to know a Rep indicated yesterday at the RCM release party, more superman coins are planned for 2015. It really would of been nice, if it was just these two releases. I hope they upgrade the packaging to be similar to the Avengers set. Those are so amazing in presentation; I'm ashamed at this years packaging of superman. It's cheap and so easy to lose COA's as there's nothing to hold them in place. Common a solid color cardboard box, it's just rude!! I guess they're trying to get the most value for the license fees.

This rep seemed to suggest that superman was just the beginning of a much wider set of comic themes to come and as well, pop culture...which could open the door to limitless themes... Wondering if somebody at the Mint is a big fan of Warhol?

I just hope the RCM doesn't become like New Zealand mint! I know it's already 85% the way there , so far coins have related to Canada so far. They need unique ideas like the: lady bug, plasma coin, superman, then overdo the theme to death. I think eleven superman coins is enough. Anymore just becomes common like 2014 quarters!! They need to keep the uniqueness going along with minting affordable coins. After looking at prices of coins dating back to 2007, coin prices only go one way - up. At least the US mint has sense enough to lower their prices when silver spot drops!! It's the one thing the US mint does right!

Ya I think this is one thing that really bugs me about RCM ,plus I think they are dropping the ball as well because they could use it in their marketing strategy but Noooo they keep silient and keep prices high. I get that P/M prices fluxuate but its been droping for over 2 years shame on RCM. I bet if P/M price start going up they will be one the first to bump up their prices.

Omxfl, love the chart! nice work.. I look at that chart and this is what I see- This coin was originally, talking in USD 690. So,, here is what I see 1- it peaked approximately at high 1400s... (not a bad return tho if you flipped.. now imagine if you could do like say 10 of those at a time) 2- as prices dropped from the peak, I see a cluster of buys around the 1,000-1100 area... 3- that area broke down in time,, and lower prices followed 4- this is the one that really gets my attention...AFTER they broke 1,000-1,100 range,, they broke down AGAIN,,, much lower,, this repeated break of ranges is typical of an asset that is breaking down, its not finding any support from buyers... which leads me to point 5 5- a new range was created, this time 900-1000, with the previous range becoming resistance to higher prices. But again things kept breaking down and the next point illustrates a classic breakdown in prices- 6- I ask you to look at the two auctions right above the 800 line. Prices begin to drip below 900 now... This is important- this is the final range break, we see one auction just below the 700 range, looks like ebay had it at 685. So what I see is the coin has now entered a decline in prices. It is highly probable that prices will attempt to break below 685 as well in time. The momentum in this coin has dried up and it will have a hard time climbing back over 1000 for the time being. It also looks like that 800-850 spot is a sweet spot for buyers for the time being. It would be interesting to revisit this after a full year of sales has passed. Despite its dropping off fast, seeing that it still is above issue price for now is pretty neat considering most RCM products lose value so fast.

I wonder if a few will sell for issue or under? If they start to sell for below issue, I'd be interested in getting one for below issue. I truly love this design. It would be cool to have a gold to go with my silver. Anyone know what it's current bullion value is?
It seems with this coin a person needed to get in and out fast. The Presale yielded the best value.

I have the 2013/2014 silver superman coins. I just can't bring myself to spend over $800 on 1 coin. Maybe years down the rd my attitude will change.

2014 Gold Supermen coin sold for $710 + $8 (shipping) in USD. In the CAD bit more than issue price. People lost interest in Superman, or this is trend for all popular coins? **well, it is only one listing on ebay and not sale by diller, but anyway: http://www.ebay.com/itm/38111583608...RK:MEBIDX:IT

Didn't need them since I have the first ones. I mean does the RCM think we collectors are millionaires or something lol.

Hate to be that guy but we're very near the issue price I predicted last september! https://goccf.com/t/185612&whichpage=3But, seriously, I also thought that "Steamboat Willie" (Gold/Silver) would sell for 3x-4x issue price within 6 months and I'm still not rich! LOL!
