It was a gas station that does sell liquor, so yeah, more or less the same.

yup, that's where I have heard a lot of them come from..
People either steal them or break into someone else's coins to buy booze and cigs.

These figures should tell you something is wrong with the prices. Getting a PF-65 out of a set should be childs play, so why would a set be $18 to $20, and a single coin in the set three times as much as the entire set? Sure the sum of the individual coin in a set normally add up to more than the set price, but not a single coin being three times as much. And if you check out the sold listings on ebay you will see that slabbed PF-69 by the major TPG's have gone for as low as $9. Edited by Conder101

I checked sold listings too, you can snag em under ten bucks sometimes five bucks.

Hah! Whenever someone who is clearly a collector asks to look in my coin tray, I always chuckle on the inside and think "sure, but you won't find anything!". Another think I like to do is search a few of my coin rolls when it's slow in the bank. In just doing that I've pulled a few wheaties, a semi-key Jefferson, and a silver canadian quarter.
